Come Play With Us!

As of December 1st, the Icicle Inn here at the resort is no longer a Best Western. We are happy to announce that our resort is now rebranded and independent. We still maintain our same high levels of quality customer service, cleanliness, and dependability that our regulars have come to know and love. Please join us each in celebrating each night in December with something new and fun taking place for our guests.

So, if your plans are made, and your family is heading to Leavenworth for a beautiful weekend to experience the joys of the Bavarian themed town, then we invite you to stay with us at the Icicle Village Resort.

Traveling Along the First Electrified National Scenic Byway

Your journey can start anywhere on the West Coast Electric Highway, along Interstate 5, US 2 and parts of I-90 taking you through scenic mountains and lush valleys on your way to Leavenworth. You’ll find fast charging stations located every 25 to 50 miles. These fast charging stations allow drivers to recharge in 30 minutes or less. Mapping your route around charging stations will allow your family to enjoy the scenery and take advantage of activities rather than trying to find the next station on your drive.

During your road trip plan a stop at Stevens Pass for a bite to eat and take in the beauty of the mountain, also you are able to charge your vehicle at one of the four stations they offer to eco-friendly travelers. On weekends in the summer enjoy a scenic chairlift ride for a small fee.

Stevens pass was the first and only mountain resort in the country to install public charging stations in 2011. The two charging stations are available year-round, 24hrs/day in well lit areas (including over night). The two stations can provide a trickle charge (120Volt) and a quicker charge (220Volt) for separate electric vehicle charging simultaneously, allowing a total of 4 electric vehicles to charge at once. The best part about Stevens pass charging station is its free! Both of the charging stations are connected via cellphone so users are able to access availability information in real-time.

After enjoying the view from the top it is finally time to pack the family back into the car and finish the drive to Leavenworth, but not before stopping along the way to take pictures of the majestic waterfalls. As you reach your Leavenworth destination and the Icicle Village Resort you are able to plug in your eco-friendly vehicle, free of cost, while getting registered for your hotel room.

The resort has purchased a evCHARGER CS-90 from Sun Country Highway , a Canadian owned company leading the electric vehicle movement. They strive to raise awareness and promote the adoption of zero emission transportation. The evCHARGER CS-90 works with all J1772 compliant electric and plug in vehicles. The service entrance: 208V to 240V – 30 to 100 Amps, single phase, 2 wire w/ground.

After your family has had time to settle in, plan to visit the charming Bavarian Village to explore the different activities, festivals, and food Leavenworth has to offer. You will also find two different charging stations in Leavenworth at City Hall. One of these is 120Volt and one a 240Volt. They are located right across from the gazebo.
