Snowmobile Trails Are Open

If you have ever ridden a snowmobile, you know the
pleasure that comes from a morning spent charging
through a fresh blanket of snow. Combine that with
the beauty of our area and you have a snowmobiler's
dream.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and
prosperous New Year. In the next issue I would like
to share your favorite Leavenworth memory, so if you
have a special one you would like to share, let me
know.
Sincerely,
Sherry Schweizer

Christmas Lighting Chosen by Good
Morning America to "Light Up The Holidays"

Good Morning America's host Sam
Champion came into town on November 29th. We were
chosen as one of 5 towns in the United States to
"light up the holidays" live for their viewers. At
4am the streets were packed with over 1,000 people
for the live feed to New York City. Snow was lightly
falling and it was a "snowglobe experience."
Home and Garden TV and the Travel Channel
came and will cover us in their Christmas Specials
next year.
Come enjoy the spectacular holiday light display,
warm baked treats fresh from the oven, and a
dazzling selection of gift items.
