Acoustic Music Festival

The Leavenworth Community Coffeehouse and Upper Valley Arts will present the 12th annual summer Acoustic Music Festival at the bandstand by the river in Waterfront Park in Leavenworth, Washington, on Saturday, August 5, 2006.This is a free event where we pass the hat. Donations support the Coffeehouse concert series, which will start back up in September

Enjoy the music starting at 12:30 PM until 7:00 PM. The featured artists include:Amber Tide, Campbell Road,Kellee Bradley Corbin Keep, Dan Maher,Swil Kanim and the Michael Carlos Band. Bring your blanket and enjoy the day!

Leavenworth Wine Tasting Festival--August. 19

Enjoy tasting the wines of premier Washington State vineyards with over 18 wineries being represented. Browse a dozen art booths and listen to great live music by the Brothers Four and other great musicians. The new hybrid electric car will be on display. Event Admission $10--Admission with wine tasting-- $20 This includes a commemorative glass and 5 tokens for wine tasting. $5 of the admission fee benefits Pat's Fund--See the next article.

The Great Bavarian Walk - August 19

The Great Bavarian Walk raises awareness and money for autoimmune disease research. The 5K, 10 K and 1Mile Walks are for families, organizations, teams and individuals. People of all ages are encouraged to join the fun! Several lengths of walks are offered with education, contests and food events as part of the day. Entry Forms available beginning In January.
