It’s May. Spring is here…and, not a moment too soon. The sun is out, the wildflowers are bursting, the apple and pear blossoms are springing to life, and the Bavarian Village is ready for some spring fun. Help us celebrate the arrival of spring the German way with fun, Maifest ins events all month long, presented by the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce.
Festival Schedule:
- May 7-8 | Celebrate Mom - Free flower crowns and giveaways with a Mother's Day 5k on Sunday May 8th at 10 am.
- May 13-15 | Traditional Maifest Activities - Festzug (Grand March) on May 14th at 12 pm, Live music & traditional German dancing all weekend along Front Street, downtown.
- May 21-22 | Live Chainsaw Carving - Alternating live music and live chainsaw carving both Saturday and Sunday from 11 am-4 pm, downtown.
- May 28-29 | Alphorn Celebration - Special Alphorn recitals & workshops all weekend, downtown at the Front Street Park Pavillion.
